Those Among Us

Those Among Us is a depiction of an alternate Earth or rather what could be. The days have gone dark as man fights over the dwindling resources left on the planet of Damas. Corporations now run countries while the military is placed under their rule and for their purposes. Politicians are bought and paid for to placate the masses. However, rumors of sentient beings known as “The Arcs of Light” have decreed an ultimatum: 'Change your warmongering ways or face extinction.' Most people are led to believe it is just a hoax although a few have embraced the demands and joined forces to support their leadership. Some, like Dr. Alan Archer, have been chosen as representatives of The Arcs of Light and now lead small bands in the construction of three sustainable cities. These Arc cities are the proving ground to The Arcs that humankind can make changes to better themselves and the planet. Others have chosen to merge in a symbiotic relationship with the beings and have obtained incredible powers. These have become heroes of the people and have collected a large following. They compete in The Games at the city center. The same city that was designed by the Arcs and constructed by volunteers of believers who are striving for the same goals as The Arcs: Peace on Damas. The interest of The Arcs is not only for our benefit. Their main interest is to prolong the planet's life as they feed off of the ‘energy’ the planet produces. Electrical charges caused by storms is their main source to replenish their power. There are some Arc beings who misuse their power and create chaotic storms that cause much harm. For this reason the Arcs are divided. Lord [Darkness], leader of ‘The Void’, takes no heed to the welfare of humankind and wishes to have free reign over the world. His rival is Arc Mikal, leader of the Arcadians, a fierce opposition that defend man against The Void’s malevolence. These are the stories of humankind’s last stand against Lord [Darkness] and The Void:

Interactive Reality Entertainment

To my fellow Earth lovers, I have written a storyline to promote the concept of sustainability. My vision is to create a theme park that is a small sustainable city. This way the whole world is able to see what is possible and may use it as a model for future cities. My suggestion is to create a compelling storyline that incorporates interactive social media and trends people towards sustainability. Here is the concept in simple terms: Create a compelling storyline on interactive social media Create a working environment where the games can be played out. (theme park or compatible venues) Hire actors and workers to interact with the park visitors and run the park Broadcast through social media the drama and action that happens in the city. The volunteers compete in games to generate revenue and interest in the mission of the park. The theme park is built to play out the concept (or venues are used until the park is built). The participants enter into competitions a...

"The Aeroplane Will Never Fly"

"The aeroplane will never fly." -- Lord Haldane, Minister of War, Britain, 1907. And yet, one year later, in 1908, Orville and Wilbur Wright made over 200 flights across Europe. Fifty years later, Sir Harold Spencer Jones, Astronomer Royal of Britain, is quoted saying, "Space travel is bunk.” two weeks before the launch of Sputnik in 1957. Now, in 2016, NASA is prepping for manned trips to Mars. History is replete with many self-important and so-called ‘experts’ who doubt the significance of the evolution of man’s technology and its uses.  What does the more distant future look like? Will we have interstellar travel? How will we get there? In one-thousand years how will the history books explain how our civilization evolved past the lunacy of war, world hunger, and unrecoverable depletion of our planets resources? Looking back from the future how will they describe our transition from genocides, countries going bankrupt, dictatorships, and poverty? I would like to think ...
